In this episode, Jake is joined by Tifani and Alicia Kawahata of Welcome Home Inspections. Alicia was a Realtor who saw an opportunity to have needs filled by a better home inspection. She decided that she could provide home inspections at a higher standard than she was seeing; she then went to Tifani with the idea of starting a home inspection business. Tifani was in the corporate world and initially said no to Alicia's proposal. After deliberation, the pair was able to reach a compromise and took the leap of faith. With the goal of raising the standard of home inspections in their area, Welcome Home Inspections has continued to grow and Tifani and Alicia graciously join us to share their experiences.
